How Class Notes Concerts Work

Class Notes provides free classroom resources and concert experiences for Minnesota K‑12 schools to foster an understanding, love, and appreciation of music.

Bring professional artists to your classroom

Class Notes brings professional musicians to thousands of K‑12 school children across Minnesota. Our team will work with you to help coordinate your event and customize your concert experience to fit your needs.

What’s a concert experience like?

Class Notes Concert artists talk about their instruments, engage students in participatory activities, and play music! Watch Nyttu demonstrate the timbila in this video. These types of experiences could be part of your Class Notes Concert.

Minnesota students can experience live music — for free

Class Notes’ professional artists bring exciting live performance experiences to schools across Minnesota thanks in part to the Minnesota Legacy Amendment‘s Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
