 Artu Duo are a professional cello and piano ensemble that plays classical music from all eras. Based in Minnesota, they have toured extensively around the United States. They are also teachers and feel equally at home performing in the concert hall and the classroom!

 In their Class Notes Concert, Artu Duo will feature music by composers Ludwig van Beethoven, Claude Debussy, and Rebecca Clarke. During their concert, students will use active listening skills and fundamental music vocabulary to identify each composer’s individual style (or “thumbprint”). Artu Duo will also emphasize connections between music, moods, emotions, and storytelling.
