 Helen & Mikey are a progressive folk duo. They perform original tunes for cello, banjo, accordion, and vocals. Their musical influences include American Old-time, Scandinavian, and various other folk music traditions. 

: In a Class Notes Concert featuring Helen & Mikey, students will learn about the cello, banjo, and accordion while enjoying folk music. Helen & Mikey integrate active participation, and students will join in the music making by learning a song. Finally, Helen & Mikey will explore how to make simple melodies more interesting.
