Lake Minnetonka String Quintet

About the Ensemble: Classical training meets pop perfection! Five lifelong musical companions who've journeyed together from Minnesota school orchestras, youth symphonies, conservatory halls, and professional orchestral stages, come together to share their love of music, friendship, and collaboration through performance. With their virtuoso skills and custom arrangements by group members, no musical boundary is off-limits — they'll elevate any event with their seamless precision and infectious energy! 

Program Description: For elementary audiences, Lake Minnetonka String Quintet will perform an interactive concert that integrates movement and responsive audience participation.  Students will also identify key concepts, such as major/minor, dynamic contrast, and rhythmic patterns.   

For ages middle and high school audiences, Lake Minnetonka String Quintet can offer theme-based concerts (pop covers, traditional classical repertoire, movie/video game soundtracks) or concert-based demonstration of key techniques and skills, such as intonation work, orchestral posture, or bow control and articulation.
