Apply to be a Class Notes Artist

Class Notes is currently seeking artists/ensembles to join our roster for the 2026-27 school year! Applications are due Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

ABOUT CLASS NOTES CONCERTS

Class Notes Concerts is a part of YourClassical MPR’s signature Class Notes education initiative. Class Notes Concerts bring live, in-person concerts performed by professional, Minnesota-based musicians to schools across the entire state of Minnesota. Supported by both the Legacy Amendment and generous donor support, Class Notes Concerts are offered for free to participating schools.

Requirements for Performers/Artists:

• Ensembles must be Minnesota-based. Preference given to ensembles with all Minnesota-based musicians.

• Experience in a K–12 school setting

• Scheduling flexibility during weekdays

• Willingness to work in partnership with Class Notes team on program logistics and educationally appropriate program design

• Meet key deadlines and respond to MPR communication (within 24 hours)

• Willingness to sign media release form and serve as an ambassador for YourClassical MPR / Class Notes
